She defeated New South Wales’ Judy Monks 25-10 in the bronze medal match at Club Sapphire.

A sectional loss to Commonwealth Games gold medallist Carla Krizanic cost her a spot in the gold medal match.

It caps off a great week for the West Australian women who medalled in every event they participated in with silver in the triples and gold in the fours.

Krstic joins her triples teammates Laura Merz and Robyn O’Brien in winning medals in two events at the championships.

The men haven’t been quite as successful with the best performance being the fours team of Daniel Brown, Daniel Trewhella, Kevin McKay and Shane Loftus who finished third in their section with one win.

This year’s state champions will also get the opportunity to compete for a national title in Merimbula next season.
