New Affiliation Fee Passed

by Aaron Delaporte on December 10, 2018

Following a Special General Meeting held at Manning Memorial Bowling Club on Saturday 8th December a motion to change the way affiliation fees are levied on clubs was passed. This notice was a result of a Affiliation Fee Review Committee appointed by the board to look for a more transparent and fairer way to levy fees on clubs for affiliation.

Postal ballots were sent to country clubs whilst metro clubs were required to vote on the day.

The result saw a total of 95 clubs (27 metro 68 country) vote in favour of the changes with 20 against (4 metro 16 country). A majority vote of over 82% in favour.

The change to the constitution around the calculation of fees will come into effect for the 2019/20 Bowling season.
