Associations Incorporation Act 2015

For clubs, leagues or zones that are Incorporated bodies you should be aware that changes to the Associations Incorporation Act will require you to commence amendments to your Constitution (often referred to as Rules) and the way you conduct your operations from 1st July 2016.

Association Rules checklist

From 1 July 2016, the a number of items must be addressed in all rules (also known as the constitution) of Western Australian incorporated associations.

Model Rules

The Model Rules are a guide to help you develop your Association’s rules.  Included in the downloadable document are the prescribed model rules as well as guidance notes and Act requirements.  

The model rules guide help your association prepare for the new laws commencing on 1 July 2016.
