Becoming a Coach
Bowls WA Presenters and Assessors
Launch of the New Bowls Australia Coaching Program within Western Australia
Free Club Coach Accreditation and Reaccreditation Programs
This Is a Great Opportunity for Clubs and Individuals
Bowls WA has sourced funding from Bowls Australia to begin rolling out the long awaited new Australia wide coaching structure within Western Australia. We are initially offering free programs, on a first come first served basis, for up to a total of 120 prospective new Club Coaches to gain accreditation and for existing Level1Coaches to reaccredit, within the new structure by becoming a Club Coach.
Funding guidelines require us to complete these free programs before 30 September, 2009. You are advised to be quick to register. Registration forms can be obtained by contacting Pieter Harris, Bowls WA Development Officer or by downloading from the Bowls WA website
After 30 September, 2009 there will be a cost associated with participation in coach accreditation and reaccreditation courses; Club Coach Accreditation $110.00 (incl GST) and Club Coach Reaccreditation $33.00 (incl GST).
It is anticipated that the programs will be held in venues, yet to be finalised, north and south of the river. The programs will be conducted by Bowls Australia accredited Presenters and Assessors, Brian Jeppesen and Peter Bowden.
All existing Level 1 Coaches, who require reaccreditation and prospective new Club Coaches are invited to submit an application as soon as possible.
