Women’s Country v Metro Challenge Results
The Metropolitan side proved just a touch too good for their country counterparts as the respective selected 12 rinks did battle at Manning Memorial Bowling Club on Sunday March 18th.
The metropolitan side won seven of the twelve matches as they were challenged by the country team. The country won four rinks whilst there was one draw. The overall result being a 268-209 victory to the metropolitan side.
The best rink for the metro was the team of Bev Baker, Rhonda Prosser, Debbie Rhine and Irene Arndt winning 43-12 whilst for the country the team of Elaine McDonald, Margaret Coulsen, Bev Scott and Kaye Gaglia won 34-10.
