Junior Bowls
Junior Bowls is an important part of the bowls scene in WA.
Juniors are welcomed at all clubs and club coaches will show them the basics and etiquette of the game. They are more than welcome to participate in all of the events and competitions run by clubs.
Bowls WA conducts State Junior Championships each year around April and these are an important stepping stone for Juniors wanting to proceed further in the sport.
The State Junior Selectors pick a State Squad from which a WA side is selected to play in the National Championships in October each year.
Bowls WA also runs a series of junior coaching sessions during the year which are open to all juniors. Clubs also run specific events for juniors. For more information on all aspects of Junior Bowls contact Pieter Harris pieter@bowlswa.com.au
