The stage is set for another stellar showdown at the finals of the $50,000 National 5 A Side competition held at Club Helensvale this week, with four stellar teams still in the running to take out the 2013 title. Local hopes, Club Helensvale, had a strong day’s performance on the green yesterday, winning five-and-a-half games from their eight rounds, ensuring they finished top of the table on 55 points. Defending champions Warilla will again feature in the semi-final showdown, completing the third day in emphatic style to secure third position on the ladder with 47 points.
