Poletti quartet defends the Women’s State Fours Title

Lee Poletti, Kerry Andersen, Vicky Spragg and Bev Scott have come from the clouds to defend their WA Women’s State Fours Title at Hilton Park Bowling Club. After trailing for most of the final against Kelli Rogalski, Helen Stevens, Brooke Newstead and Elizabeth Allan, the Poletti rink made shots when it mattered and came home with a rush to win 26-17.
Earlier in the day Poletti needed an extra end to dash the hopes of Therese Hastings, Pam Chalmers, Bianca Riseborough and Helen Morss 15-14. The Rogalski rink also had a cliff hanger semi final when they defeated Kaye Blackwell, Rinske Butcher, Judy Freedman and Barb McNeill 18-17
