SRCWA and Bowls WA join forces
Partnership Announcement 15.09.2014 Bowls WA is pleased to announce that the Seniors Recreation Council of WA (SRC) has joined as an event partner for the next two years.
As such a new event will be added to the calendar the State Over 60s Mixed Pairs will form part of the Over 60s Bowler of the Year criteria with interest amongst Over 60s players expected to be high.
Chief Executive Officer Ken Pride is excited by the event, which will be the final event in the Over 60s season and could well determine the recipient of the Bowler(s) of the Year.
“I welcome the SRC to bowls in WA, which is a natural fit between them and the event. I thank the SRC state president, Hugh Rogers, himself a past president of Osborne Park BC for their commitment to the game and look forward to growing their involvement in years to come” he said.
The inaugural event is scheduled to be played from 13th-15th April next year, immediately after the Australian Sides Series.
