Beryl Brennan and McKenzie/Barns medal winners announced
Vicki Spragg and Glyn Vaughan named Women’s and Men’s Over 60 Player of the Series respectively Vicki Spragg has added the Beryl Brennan Medal to the gold medal worn proudly around her neck after being voted the Player of the Series by her fellow players, as well as the Women’s State Over 60 Selectors.
Playing second to last year’s winner Kaye Blackwell, the Dudley Park bowler maintained her outstanding form throughout the four-day competition, capping off a fine week with deserved recognition for her individual talent.
Glyn Vaughan lead for Steve O’Neill in WA’s most successful rink, winning five games and only losing two with a massive 52 shots up. No stranger to silverware, the Thornlie veteran may well rank the prestigious McKenzie/Barns Medal amongst his highest individual honours.
