Employment: Marketing Coordinator

by admin on December 22, 2014

The opportunity to drive a marketing strategy for a National Sporting Organisation is here. Bowls Australia is looking for a savvy, innovative marketer to promote and communicate to the existing membership while engaging a new audience.
This role is flexible in nature, covering three days per week in many possible combinations:

• Monday to Wednesday – 9.00am to 5.00pm
• Monday to Friday – 4.5 hours per day
• The possibilities and combinations are endless!

What will this role have to work with?
Program Marketing
New programs to shape a Commonwealth Games sport for the future have been developed and require a savvy marketer to bring the sport to the masses. New participation programs, Jack Attack and Jr Jack Attack are about to be publically launched and will require new and innovative methods of reaching a crowded sport and leisure market.

Event Marketing
Bowls’ richest event, the Australian Open, has just been revamped and is moving to the Gold Coast in 2015 for the next five years. The opportunities within the largest participation region in Australia are endless with a strong relationship with event partners Tourism and Events Queensland and Gold Coast City Council. But wait, there’s still more! The Australian Premier League brings four nights of prime time live bowls to the homes of thousands in November this year. With event ambassador Mick Molloy, the opportunities to promote the event and our sport are only limited by your imagination.
