Friday Night Pennants

Stirling v Doubleview In one of the closest Men’s BCiB Premier League Pennant competition round 17 will again be crucial for all ten sides as they vie for positions on the ladder. Stirling Bowling Club will host Doubleview this Friday 13th February in a game which has serious ramifications for both playoff and relegation zones.
Ninth placed Stirling failed to fire last week receiving an 8-0 drubbing away to Osborne Park but had previously turned in a very good home ground performance to beat Victoria Park Carlisle. They will be looking to recapture that form when they take on the top of the table Doubleview Bowling Club. Doubleview’s recent form has belied their ladder position with only one win from their last four outings including a rare home ground loss to second place Kardinya last week. If they want to finish on top of the ladder this game is a must win to consolidate the all important home ground advantage in the finals.
The match will commence from 6.30pm with spectators welcome to attend. A sausage sizzle will be available for $5 from 5:30pm onwards.
The side draw for the fixture is as follows (Stirling mentioned first):
T Krajancic (skip), S Davies, G Sterpini, J Astone  v S Edmonds (skip), C Slavich, L Thorn, R Moyle
D Trewhella (skip), J O’keefe, G Crisp, M Trewhella v J Slavich (skip), B Brandsma, J Barry, B White
