National Officiating Advisory Group members

Bowls Australia are calling for National Officiating Advisory Group members, to provide advice and guidance to the Bowls Australia Board with respect to all aspects of officiating within Australia and internationally.

Bowls Australia are seeking up to five persons to serve on this essential advisory group for officiating in Australia, which is charged to make recommendations on policy and the Laws of the Sport to the Board of Bowls Australia.

The appointment term for these voluntary positions are two years, although the revised Terms of Reference adopted has implemented a staggered rotation, with the initial term of one year candidates determined by lot at the first face to face meeting.

The NOAG meets on no more than two occasions face to face, which usually involve an overnight stay. Additional meetings, should they be required, are held via teleconference.

Any costs associated with travel to and from meetings are organised and paid for by Bowls Australia. There is no remuneration for these positions.

Applications close on Wednesday, October 14.
