Women’s State Fours Sunday Knockout Results
Four teams remain in contention the 2015-16 Women’s State Fours Championships.
Helen Morss, Therese Hastings, Robyn O’Brien, Shenayde Heldt (Manning) will continue to be one of the favourites with all ladies involved in last seasons Women’s State Team. Morss took care of Tammy Hyatt, Cheryl Dickinson, Aileen Manderson, Georgia Cant (Composite) in the quarter final to book her teams place in the semi finals.
Liz Mathews, Shari Solly, Denise Kelly, Toni Madigan (Composite) will go into the semi finals full of confidence with some big wins including a quarter final victory against Charmaine Duff, Dianne Kett, Marlene McGrath, Eileen McCahon (Composite).
The other side of the draw saw Kathy Gobbart drive her new Sorrento teammates, Barbara Lorenc, Nerrida Porteous and Pauline Bourne into the semi finals with a good win against Rinske Butcher, Judy Freedman, Vikki Ellis, Debbie Rhine (North Beach).
Lee Poletti, Kerry Andersen, Vicki Spragg, Beverley Scott (Composite) had to do it the hard way with first a one shot win in the alignment round against Manning’s Shaan Saunders and then a good victory against the talented team of Lisa Featherby, Linda Warburton, Robyn Jolly, Helen Heal (Composite).
