WA ready for State Championships

by admin on March 29, 2016

Australian Sides Championships Queanbeyean ACT The Men’s and Women’s WA State Teams were given a solid hit out as they made final preparations to take on their interstate rivals tomorrow for the Australian Sides Championships.
The teams will enter the round robin format with just the one practice game which was played today against tournament favourites NSW. It was a good hit out for both the Men and Women’s sides who despite being beaten should take a lot out of it for tomorrow especially adjusting to the different conditions that the ACT has to offer. WA has drawn NSW in the very first match of the tournament and will be certainly looking for strong improvement. That match will begin at 8.45am ESDT time followed by a second round encounter against the host state ACT at 1.30pm. Further matches on Friday against Qld and SA and Saturday against Tasmania and Victoria will follow before a final match against NT on Sunday will wrap up the tournament.
