by admin on October 24, 2016

Exciting news for WA … in the Bowls Australia announcement for next phase selection of the Commonwealth Games Disability Bowler Squad after a tight training camp last week at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast … our representative Eddie Gollan has been selected!
Eddie is one of two B6 players selected in the remaining eight person Squad – it is an exciting opportunity and one step closer to wearing the green and gold for Australia.  Congratulations Eddie, we look forward to hearing more about further Squad selections at and after the upcoming training camp scheduled for February 2017.  We have previously written about Eddie and his transition from NSW to WA, if you would like to review it click here.
Congratulations are also in order for the other seven selections: Josh Barry (VIC), Tony Bonnell (QLD), Chris Flavel (SA), Ken Hanson (QLD), James Reynolds (NSW), Josh Thornton (VIC), and Daryl Wilson (SA).
