Roos win big
Round in Review week 4 Week four of pennants has now been and gone and as usual there were some wins that were bigger than others. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest.
Men’s Saturday Competition
It was a pretty good to play for Wanneroo on Saturday. The Roos had two division high rink wins with Derek Boardman’s 31 shot win in 3rd Division and Trevor Swan’s 25 shot win in 6th. In addition both their 3rd and 4th Divisions won by more than 50 shots and their 6th won by 31 in the two rink comp.
This week saw a tie for the round’s biggest aggregate margin. Both Osborne Park in 2nd Division and Spearwood’s 5th Division won their games by 76 shots. Osborne Park’s team included Ron Stockton’s week best rink win of 36 shots. Spearwood had the 5th Division best rink win among their ranks with Tom Gimblett winning by 34 shots.

Women’s Tuesday Competition
Unusually the biggest aggregate win of the round came from Premier League courtesy of Manning 1’s big win over Gosnells. All sides won by double digits in their 46 shot victory while Helen Morss’ 21 shot win was Premier League’s best rink. The competition’s best rink for the week was Beryl Barron’s rink with a 33 shot win in 6th Division. Their win was a big part of Morley’s division best 42 shot win.
