Kalannie 7.5 and Dalwallinu Gold 7 could take that last finals spot. Wongan Hills on 3 are two aggregates out of third and will struggle to catch up.

Mens Pennant

Champions:

Gingin Red

Rounds Played:

Gingin 7/10

Summary: Gingin Red are doing everything they can to repeat last year’s premiership winning season sitting top after the first seven games with 33 points. Bindoon are just one point behind Gingin Black on 29 points sit third. The top three look unlikely to be ousted from the top three positions with an 18 point gap back to the dog fight for the last finals place. Ledgepoint 11 currently hold it from Lancelin on percentage last placed Guilderton still every chance on 10 points.

MOORE DISTRICTS BOWLING LEAGUE

6/10

Leader:

Gingin 12pts

Top Skip:

Noeleen Keefe 3 wins +34

However the reigning premiers are in a better position than they appear with a game in hand on the rest of the league. Bindoon 8.5 sit third with Lancelin 8 and Ledge Point 7.5 making up the rest of the league. With almost half a season to go anything could happen in this league.

NORTH MIDLANDS BOWLING LEAGUE

Competition:

Mens Pennant

Champions:

Mingenew

Rounds Played:

9/14

Leader:

Carnamah 36.5pts

Top Skip:

Trevor Haeusler (Carnamah) 7.5 win +89 shots

Summary: The top four is exceptionally close with Carnamah 36.5, Three Springs Black 33, Morawa 32.5 and Perenjori 32 all very capable of swapping positions multiple times in the last few rounds. Two challengers from outside the four remain but they may need the incumbents to stumble somewhat at this later stage. Three Springs Red sit in fifth on 26.5 points while defending champions Mingenew face the real possibility of missing finals with 25.5 points. Latham 15.5 and Coorow 14.5 are too far back to realistically mount a charge.

NORTH MIDLANDS BOWLING LEAGUE

Competition:

Womens Pennant

Champions:

Three Springs

Rounds Played:

8/10

Leader:

Carnamah 10pts

Top Skip:

No stats available

Summary: With two rounds to go the top three are separated by just percentage and will battle it out for the league title over the last two rounds. Despite currently sitting behind leaders Carnamah and reigning champions Three Springs it is that Mingenew appear to be in the best position with a game in hand over their rivals. With Perenjori and Morawa both out of the running next round’s game between Carnamah and Mingenew will be critical in the premiership race.
