Rossmoyne power in Womens second div

Round 15 in Review Men’s Saturday Competition
This week’s biggest aggregate win was Warwick 1’s 64 shot win in 2nd Division Blue. The win included the division’s biggest rink win by Jon Borkowski and his rink who won 42-11. The win puts Warwick 1 on top of the ladder heading into the last month of the season after their belting of the former leaders.
Kelvin Wright and his rink in Rockingham’s 3rd Division White team recorded a 36 shot win to be the biggest winners of the competition for the round. The 42-6 win was an integral part of a seven point pick up to keep Rockingham within touching distance of the top couple of teams.
From the country…
One of the biggest wins we have ever seen occurred out in the South Eastern Bowling League on the weekend. Ladder leaders Narembeen Gold defeated Merredin Red 160-53 in a very high scoring game. Almost half of the 107 shot margin was made up by one rink. John Currie, Robert Hayter, Robert Gill and Ron Butler not only scored 50 shots but won by a margin of over 50 shots with a 57-5 win.

Women’s Tuesday Competition
Rossmoyne’s 2nd Division Red team were the biggest winners of the round when they almost tripled their opponents score 93-32. Almost half of the 61 shot margin was due to one rink was Tuesday’s biggest win competition wide. Dianne Anderton and her rink won by 30 shots to help ensure the comfortable aggregate win. Rossmoyne now move up two places into fourth and have two more weeks to see how much further they can improve.
