2017 Junior State Squad Selected
Ken Perks, Bowls WA Under 18 State Coach, and Clive Adams, Bowls WA Under 18 State Assistant Coach, would like to announce all junior bowlers selected to be a part of the 2017 Western Australian Under 18 Bowls WA State Squad.
The upcoming National Championships are scheduled to be held in NSW from Saturday 30th September – Monday 2nd October 2017.

Ken brings extensive experience to Coaching our Junior Squad having s won the Bowls WA Coach of the Year Award in both 2014/15 and 2015/16. Ken works tirelessly to get juniors playing in all clubs. He has been working with schools in the Morley area over the last few years attempting to make that vision a reality by running bowls programs with the aim of introducing under 18’s to the sport and giving them a taste of what bowls is like.
Clive also has a wealth of experience as the Regional Bowls Manager for Bowls Australia, the winner of numerous State and National Events including the most recent 2016/17 Champion of Champions Singles for a third time!
After watching the overall performances of all players at the State Under 18 Championships at Osborne Park Ken is confident that WA has the makings of an extremely competitive side for those National Championships.
Five training days have been scheduled and at the end of these practice dates players will be selected who have the necessary skill level required for a National Championship. All sessions will be held at the Morley Bowling Club. Please note further Team Training dates will be released once the WA State Team has been chosen.
· Sunday 7th May 9.00 am – 3.00 pm
· Saturday 2nd June 10.00 am – 4.00 pm (note long weekend)
· Sunday 3rd June 9.00 am – 3.00 pm (note long weekend)
· Sunday 2nd July 10.00 am -3.00 pm
· Sunday 23rd June 10.00 am – 3.00 pm
