Crucial games in round 16 The BLK Men’s Saturday Premier League Friday Night fixture is on again with a crucial round 16 of fixtures. The Stirling Wolves are set to host Osborne Park at Stirling Bowling Club 78 Jones Street, Stirling and South Perth will host Doubleview at South Perth Bowling Club, 2 Mends Street South Perth. Both games will be starting at 6.30pm
Stirling will be playing for pride when they host second spot Osborne Park on their brand new indoor carpet. The host side have won just one match this year but are set to give their best against an Osborne Park side who have really hit top form in recent weeks charging up the ladder to be just one point behind Cambridge. The other Friday Night fixture will see 8th placed South Perth desperate for points as they look to secure their future in the BLK Premier League. They are 8.5pts from the relegation zone and a win would make it very hard for them to go down. The opposition Doubleview are currently 3rd and still not without a top 2 chance if results go their way in the remaining matches this year. They had a massive 72 shot win last week over Kardinya so we be keen to keep the winning form going heading into finals.
The other matches which will be played on Saturday will see Cambridge (1st) play Bassendean (5th) in what looks to be the game of the round. Morley (7th) will host Kardinya (6th) and Wanneroo (9th) will play Manning (4th) in another crucial match with both teams desperate for points.
Make sure you catch all the action at either venue with full bar facilities and Hamburgers available for all spectators.
