Bowls WA Multibowl State Side Announced

by admin on April 15, 2018

Bowls WA is pleased to announce the State Side selected to play at the upcoming National Multi-Bowl Championships in May.  This event is being hosted in WA for the first time in it’s history (30 plus years) at Kardinya Bowling Club from Sunday 20 to Friday 25 May.

The Multi-Bowl Nationals, run under the auspice of Disability Sport Australia, is the pathway to international competition for bowlers with a physical disability.  All players must receive a classification prior to participation, B5 to B8, and only those classified are eligible to compete in para-bowl games internationally.  A great example is our very recent para-triples team who competed in the Commonwealth Games (and got GOLD … CONGRATULATIONS and YES AUSTRALIA!).

Each State and/or Territory is allowed to enter a side of 10 players – 6 men and 4 women.

Congratulations to the WA selected Side:
