Internations ready to roll

Western Australian bowlers representing countries around the world will gather for a cause at the 40th Anniversary Internations Carnival across the weekend May 5-6th at Yokine Bowling Club.
The annual charity event which raises fund for the Princess Margaret Children’s Hospital of WA is a mixture of competitive bowling and good fun between players many of whom have supported the event for most of the forty years it has been going. The teams which raised over $10,000 for PMH last year are Australia, Croatia, England, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Scotland and The Rest of the World. Croatia are the defending champions but are sure to be challenged by the Australians who always put in a strong line-up whilst England and the Rest of the World shouldn’t be under estimated as potential winners. All named players are listed on the Internations web page.
Internations Secretary George Beacroft encourages all members of the bowling community to come along and support the event which includes the regular raffles, an auction and food stalls of the nations represented.
Further details regarding this event can be found on the Internations web page at http://internationsbowls.com.au/
