National Arm Challenge Begins

by Aaron Delaporte on September 9, 2018

The 2018 National Bowling Arm Challenge has started at East Maitland Bowling Club NSW.  The tournament runs over four days from Monday 10 to Thursday 14 September.

In its seventh year, this event now has a full contingency of States participating, with Tasmania joining the event this year after Western Australia joined last year.

The State Representative Arm Sides play for a National Trophy, supplied by Bowls Australia, alongside State Shields, supplied by each State.

All Sides consist of three teams of five players playing Singles alongside Fours and Pairs alongside Triples so that all fifteen players of a Side play simultaneously during the Challenge.

A full Schedule and Conditions of Play can be found HERE.

Congratulations to our Sandgropers and best wishes for further success in your second year of competition!
