First Masters Series events open for entries

The opening two events in the Dyenamic Sublimation Masters Series are now open for entries.
The series will kick off with the first of three new Masters competition’s with the Men’s Masters Triples on November 18 and 25 at Bassendean Bowling Club. This event will carry $4,000 in prizemoney and is limited to just 32 teams.
The next event on the calendar will then be the Osborne Park Men’s Masters Singles. The Masters Singles has long been one of the most prestigious singles crowns having started at Royal Park over fifty years ago but was missing from the calendar last year. It is great to see Osborne Park bringing it back as part of the Masters Series. The 2018 event will be held on Friday 7th December (PM only), Sunday 9th December and Monday 10th December with a field limited to 64 players only. The event carries $3,500 in prizemoney.
The North Beach Women’s Masters Pairs and Mosman Park Women’s Masters Singles will open shortly along with the Doubleview Men’s Master Pairs. The remaing events on the calendar will be the Doubleview Men’s Masters Fours, Osborne Park Women’s Masters Triples and a Stirling Mixed Masters Pairs.
These eight events in the Masters Series will give WA bowlers the chance to compete for good prizemoney along with national ranking points and WA bowler of the year points. Points will also be allocated at the completion of each event for quarter finalists and better with an overall male and female bowler of the series to be announced at the conclusion of the series each year. The Series Champions winners get $1000 cash prize along with bowls, shoes and bowls bag provided by supporting sponsor Aero Bowls.
