Perth & Tatts win Triples
The Perth and Tattersalls side of Paul Smith (skip), Jason Godden (second) and Trevor Criddle (lead) have taken out the Men’s 2nd Div and Under Triples hosted by Osborne Park Bowling Club.
The team played extremely well in tough, hot conditions over the weekend of January 5th and 6th in defeating a capacity 36 team field winning fairly convincingly in most of the six matches required to secure the title.
They defeated the Sorrento side of Trevor Orton, Steve Draper and Steven Mortimer 23-15 in the 17 end final.
The Semi-finalists were a composite side of Michael Yates (Perth & Tatts), Mark Lindsay (Claremont) and Brian Wright (Manning) and the Quinns Rocks team of John Berecz, Mike Tomasso and Barry Crawford.
