State Singles results
Competition was hot as the opening day of the Dyenamic Bowls Uniforms State Singles began yesterday at multiple venues across WA. Defending champion Warren Holt (Wagin) has progressed along with a number of big names including previous winners Justin Opie (South Perth), Tom Mitchell (Manning) and Blake Nairn (Osborne Park) plus recent State Triples champions Daniel Brown (Kardinya) and Daniel Trewhella (Doubleview).
Bowls WA took the rare decision to postpone the opening day of the Women’s Singles due to the forecast of 40 degrees however the Men took to the greens in hot conditions. Although breaks were required at some venues, sectional matches were able to be completed plus the majority of alignment and knockout matches.

Revised Women’s State Singles Draw
The Women’s Singles will now begin on Sunday January 27th whilst the Men will continue with knockout rounds on the same day. The Men’s finals will be played on Monday January 28th at Yokine Bowling Club with the Women to continue through knockout rounds at the same venue. A decision on the Women’s finals will be made after the conclusion of matches on that day.
