Club Committee Compliance Workshops

Bowls WA in partnership with Clubs WA will be hosting Club Committee Compliance Training courses throughout August.

This course has been developed to assist the management committees and boards of incorporated clubs within Western Australia in the governance of their clubs under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015.

This is a comprehensive course that is essential for new Club Committee Members or experienced Club Committees looking to refresh their knowledge and gain new tools.

Attending these courses will be beneficial to clubs and will provide essential information on a matter of subjects within a club, clear any confusions on issues within the club and attendees will also be give an 180+ page committee compliance handbook for continued reference.

Training Topics:

  1. Compliance under the Associations Incorporation Act and Liquor Control Act
  2. The Clubs’ Constitution
  3. Committee Responsibilities
  4. Club Finance
  5. Suspension and Expulsion
  6. Volunteers

These courses are not free but are an investment into effective and efficient club management and committee matters.

Monday, 5:30pm-8:30pm, 12th August, Cockburn Bowling Club, Members: $50 Non-Members:$110 – Flyer

Monday, 5:30pm-8:30pm, 26th August, Mandurah Bowling Club, Members: $50 Non-Members:$110 – Flyer

Monday, 5:30pm-8:30pm, 9th September, Collie Bowling Club, Members: $60 Non-Members:$120 – Flyer

Registrations close the Monday prior to the workshop. Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
