Welcome to the 2019 Winter edition of Jack Hi.
In this edition of Jack Hi we focus heavily on the Bowls WA Awards Night winners who were presented with various awards at Crown Perth on Friday May 24th. As always it was a great night to celebrate bowls best achievers on and off the green. Congratulations to the clubs, officials and volunteers who were recognised at this event.
Elsewhere in this edition are some state announcements with the Under 18’s team, WA Women’s Over 60’s side and a new look Perth Suns side announced, good luck to those teams as they prepare in the coming months for what promises to be another big season of bowls.
Jack Hi is a tri-monthly publication that features reports, articles, news and results on the sport of bowls in Western Australia published by the governing body Bowls WA. The magazine is distributed to 203 lawn bowling clubs throughout the state for free distribution to their members. There are currently close to 16,000 men and women playing lawn bowls in WA.
