BCiB Triples success in Bunbury
Following the first BCiB event at Cockburn the team trekked down to Bunbury to do it all again.
The weather held out – just – and 24 teams battled out the cut-throat format over the day and a half. Teams from throughout the south west plus metro sides from South Perth, Mosman Park and Safety Bay competed for the $6,000 in prizemoney, generously put up by Australian Jackaroos sponsors BCiB.
The event rounded out with a sportsman’s lunch on the Wednesday with a who’s who of the sport.
Glasson, Murphy, Duprez, Krstic and Kerkow entertained the players with plenty of banter, give-a-ways and the occasional serious question.
All in all a fantastic week of coaching, competition and fun made possible by the generosity of national club insurer BCiB.
Well done to the many prize winners led by the successful South Perth side of Scott Walker, Glenn Pauling and Steve Kelly.
