WA finalists at National Awards
Mike Goble-Garratt and Sorrento finalists in national awards
Congratulations to Mike Goble-Garratt and the Sorrento Bowling Club for reaching the final two nominations in their respective Bowls Australia Awards.
Mike nominated for the BLK Official of the Year and Sorrento for the Stockland Retirement Living Club of the Year will travel to the Mantra on View Hotel in Surfers Paradise in late October for the prestigious night.
Awards across many categories will be determined including the International Bowler(s) of the Year, plus the highlight of the evening the announcements for the Bowls Australia Hall of Fame inductees and existing members who are elevated to Legend status.
The glittering evening is the culmination of the season for Bowls Australia, with WA featuring strongly in the national awards in recent years. Good luck to Mike and the Sorrento club.
