Slavich again teamed with Lee Such (Manning) however Justin Opie (South Perth) was in the lead spot this year with Steve Collins having moved back to the east coast. The three combined magnificently and were outstanding in the final defeating the strong Manning side of Tom Mitchell, Stephen Patterson and Miles Kemp. The final score 22-10.
The day started with the seven sectional winners plus the team of Rhodes, Margin and Hutchinson who qualified as the “lucky loser” next best side in sectional play.
