Goldfields win first Eastern ILRR Ladies Fours
The Eastern Zone Women’s ILRR Fours were held at the Civic Merredin Bowling Club and hosted by South Eastern Bowling League on the 6th & 7th February, 2021.
When the zone and competition organizers would be more worried about the heat rule for a February event, this ILRR was the complete opposite and was held in rainy, windy cool conditions.
Congratulations and thank you to all players who braved it out for the whole weekend.
The winners for their first ever Eastern Zone Fours was Goldfields Bowling League (main picture) with 6 points and 6 rink wins.. Congratulations to our most eastern league in WA.
The next 3 places were fought out by rink wins with Avon Valley Bowling League coming 2nd with 4 points 10 rink wins, over 3rd place South Eastern Bowling League 4 points 9 rink wins and 4th place East Avon Bowling League 4 points 8.5 rink wins. Central Wheatbelt Bowling League were 5th with 2 points 6.5 rink wins. Overall a very close competition between all Leagues.
