This trainee placement was part funded by the State Department for Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries Every Club Grants, which saw Kaitlin appointed as the coordinator for the Winning Drive club development program, a program where all WA bowling clubs were offered training in club development areas such as Bowls Link, Community Engagement, Grants, Communications, Social Media and Volunteers. During her time as a trainee with Bowls WA Kaitlin also successfully completed a Certificate II and III in Business.

Bowls WA has been fortunate that through a further successful application for Every Club Grant funding we are now appointing Kaitlin as a part time employee (30 hrs per week) with a role as a Club Development Officer. She will continue as the Winning Drive coordinator but have expanded duties as a Bowls Link support officer, furthering Bowls WA Communications with a focus on Social Media and as an assistant to the Operations Manager. Kaitlin will also play a vital role in supporting Country Clubs with her first duty as the liaison for the recently announced Regional Men’s Health Working with Warriors Program.
