Perth Suns forced changes
The selected Perth Suns team for BPL #13 due to commence at Club Pine Rivers in Brisbane on the 20th April has undergone forced changes due to continuing state government quarantine regulations.
With WA still under a 14-day quarantine requirement when travelling from Brisbane and with no firm end date provided, Cody Packer and Kristina Krstic have again been forced to withdraw from the side; a very disappointing outcome for all.
Ray Pearce (Cabramatta) will now be joined by ex-WA representative and current Australian Champion of Champions winner Trystan Smallacombe (Darwin) with back to back winner of the Australian Champion of Champions Dawn Hayman (St John’s Park – NSW) filling our ladies position.
Pieter Harris will Coach the side and undertake quarantine restrictions if required upon his return.
Although again disappointing for Cody and Kristina, this is an outstanding team that no doubt will carry the Perth Suns flag high.
