by Denise McMillan on April 14, 2021

This coming weekend, April 17 & 18, Kardinya Bowling Club will host the 7th Annual State All Abilities Championships where players who are deaf, Intellectual Impaired, Physically Disabled and Vision Impaired play side-by-side in Singles and Pairs.

Here are links to the following documents for this event:

  1. Final Conditions of Play
  2. Draw
  3. Schedule

Players are requested to arrive between 8:45 and 9am on Saturday, and by 8:45 at the latest on Sunday.  All games are timed at 1 hour and 15 minutes or to:

  1. Singles – 18 Shots Up
  2. Pairs – 10 Ends

NOTE: Games for Intellectual Players will start in round 2 on Saturday, and there is a bye in that category – players are welcome to come at the normal start time or prior to the break (10:45) prior to the second game so they can get their trial ends completed in order to start in the second game round.

There will be NO dead ends – Jacks are to be re-spotted on the T.  Both a flag and hooter will signal the start and stop of all games.  When the stop-game flag and hooter are completed players must complete the end they are currently playing and the game will be considered finished.  Rolling a jack does not constitute starting a game, if a jack is rolled and no bowls have followed, the game is complete.

Lunches can be ordered at the Kitchen counter in the morning prior to play – $7 for a sandwich and drink.

Observers WELCOME!!! See you at the Kardy!
