2021 All Abilities State Championship Wrap Up
The 2021 State All Ability State Championships wrapped up last weekend with 46 participants in four categories of Deaf, Intellectual and Physical Disability, and Vision Impairment. This is a 18% growth from 2020 AND 30% from 2019!
Bowls WA thanks all players for their determination and stamina, playing up to five games a day! A special thank you to Auslan Interpreter Tara Ulrich who volunteers her time at our Opening and Closing Ceremonies to provide Auslan to our Deaf Bowlers … and another special thank you to Batemans newest Labor Member of Parliament, Kim Giddens MLA, who presented medals and acquainted herself with the players and the event!
A HUGE THANK YOU to Kardinya Bowling Club for again hosting this fantastic event and the volunteers from Tournament Director Steve Flynn, the Markers, those who help Score Cards and Scoreboards, the Kitchen helpers, and the Greens Committee! Without Clubs who support Inclusive Initiatives we would not be able to provide a competitive environment for Inclusive High-Performance Pathways!
With new players in every category, it was a treat to see the quality of bowls being played as participants fought for titles in Singles and Pairs. The results were:

Copying and Saving Pictures from a Facebook Album is very easy:
- With your mouse, left click on the picture you wish to save (bring it to the forefront)
- With your mouse, right-Click on the picture and select “Save As …”
- You can then save the picture to your desktop or a designated folder … this view will depend on what type of application you are using to access the Facebook Photo Album (i.e., computer, tablet, phone, etc.)
