Defibrillators for not-for-profit community groups and sporting clubs

by Denise McMillan on June 8, 2021

Thanks to Lotterywest, St John WA is pleased to be offering around 1,000 defibrillators to not-for-profit community groups and sporting clubs, to be installed for public community use.

This offering includes the defibrillator unit, a lock box and necessary first aid training. This package normally retails well in excess of $2,000, however the cost to successful grant recipients will be only $249.

Applications are now open for the St John WA Heart Grant. The St John WA Heart Grant is for the package which includes the defibrillator unit, a lock box and necessary first aid training.

You must be a not-for-profit WA sporting or community group that is an incorporated association or that has a similar accountability structure defined by the WA Department of Commerce. You must be willing to place your defibrillator in an area that can be accessed by the wider community 24/7 and not behind any locked gates or fences.
