Strong field set for Stirling Mixed Masters Pairs
40 strong teams will take to the Indoor surface at the Stirling Adriatic Centre home of the Stirling Bowling Club to battle it out for the Mixed Masters Pairs title in 2021. The event was not held last season due to covid-19 which means the inaugural champions Cody and Hailey Packer will be trying to defend the crown they claimed in 2019. Other strong combinations include Blake Butler and Laura Merz, Connor Biddle and Kaitlin Tyrrell, Steve Novak and Lisa Featherby, John and Mary Slavich and Dave and Mel Rankin.
Play begins this Friday October 1st from 4pm with five sections involved with the remaining five sections to then do battle on Saturday October 2nd. Sectional play for the 3×3 pairs event will be over 12 ends with a 75 minute time limit. Finals will take place for the 10 winners from Sunday October 3rd with the semi finals and grand final to be played that afternoon over 15 ends (no time limit).
Stirling invites spectators to come along and watch the action as the states best bowlers battle it out on the blue indoor surface.
