by Aaron Delaporte on October 29, 2021

The finals of the Dyenamic State Fours Championships will be played at Rossmoyne Bowling Club this Sunday 31st October 2021. The semi-finals will commence at 9.30am on the blue carpet undercover green which runs a nice 15-16 seconds with eight terrific teams engaged. Supporters and spectators are encouraged to attend.

In Men’s competition the matches are as follows, with players listed from skip to lead:

Daniel Trewhella, Thomas Mitchell, Peter Ker, Mark Simpson (Composite)
Justin Opie, Glenn Pauling, Troy Kinnane, Scott Walker (South Perth)

Steve O’Neill, Connor Biddle, Kevin Pickering, Ian Lilburne (Osborne Park)
Blake Nairn, Clive Adams, Dale Marsland, David Rankin (Composite)

Every team has quality players in all positions and expect some fireworks with skippers such as Trewhella, Opie and Nairn who can all blast there way out of trouble if required. Any of the four sides could rightly hold the trophy aloft at the end of the day.

In the Women’s the remaining teams are, with players again listed from skip to lead:

Lisa Featherby, Laura Merz, Denise Kelly, Linda Warburton (Composite)
Kristina Krstic, Hailey Packer, Robyn O’Brien, Helen Heal (Manning)

Noelene Abe, Shelley Radcliffe, Beverley Davidson, Irene Leahy (Composite)
Jennie Bruce, Shari Solly, Shaan Saunders, Amanda Masters (Composite)

The first semi-final is a rematch of last years grand final that came down to literally the last few bowls. Both teams have been in great form once again so expect this to be a real beauty. The other game also has two very good sides engaged which look evenly matched.
