Friday Night Premier League
Friday Night Premier League is back this week as we head into Round 4 of action in The Professionals Men’s Saturday Pennant Competition. Last season’s runner-ups South Perth will host newly promoted Mosman Park in what is a crucial clash for both teams.
South Perth (7th) come into the match with losses to Cambridge and Sorrento and will be keen to steady the ship at home against a much less experienced rival. The Millers have made some changes to their rinks in order to get a result and also to cover the loss of Scott Walker who is unavailable, however they should be spurred on with their home supporters and team mates from other divisions on hand for the clash.
Mosman Park (3rd) shocked the competition with an upset win in Round 1 against last years champions Osborne Park and then proved competitive in their next clash against Doubleview before recording a huge win over Kardinya last round. The Mossies will be hoping they can sting again or at least pick up a couple of rink wins against South Perth.
The action will begin from 6.30pm with full bar facilities and food available for those who wish to come down and watch some great bowls action.
