The Country Inter Zone Round Robin Fours was conducted over the weekend February 5th & 6th 2022 at Busselton Bowling Club.
The Eastern Zone returned to the winners list as the only team to record wins across all three rounds. In Round 1 they defeated Northern Zone 101-91 mainly courtesy of Chris Schell’s rink with an 18 shot victory. Round 2 saw them defeat the Southern Zone 93-88 with Fleay +8, Vaughan +6 and Schell +4. This setup a big last round clash against the South West Zone who had won four of the last five years with 2021 not having been played due to Covid. The Eastern team were simply magnificent winning on four of five rinks to take the title with a 101-81 victory.
