Vale – Larry Bandy
It is our terribly sad duty to communicate the passing of our President Mr Larry Bandy overnight.
Larry assumed the Presidency in in 2020 after serving as Vice President to Kerry Andersen with a strong conviction to assist clubs to become self sufficient and resilient to the challenges we currently face.
As Cap number 96, with 30 games for the State, he was a member of the undefeated 1987 Alley Shield side played at the Roselands club in NSW. Larry was an outstanding bowler who cherished the etiquette of the sport, who “understood” the game and the requirements of the average club member.
Our thoughts are with his family, the South Perth Bowling Club and his wide circle of friends in the bowling community.
