RSLWA bowls welcomes new members
The RSLWA Bowls Section is a Lawn Bowls Club which consists of serving, ex-serving and direct family members of those veterans. Members must meet these criteria to be eligible for membership, along with being a current member of a Bowling Club recognised by Bowls WA and a current financial member of the RSL or sub-Branch.
Currently we are based at the Yokine Bowls Club where we generally meet once a month on a Friday, our season will kick off this year in September and generally runs for six months. The RSLWA Bowls Section also play in various carnivals and bowls events throughout the Perth metropolitan area, typically on Fridays with some night games held mid-week for those members interested in playing.
In April – May 2023, we are also hosting the 54th National RSL Bowls Carnival. This will see all States participate in a week-long event, with plenty of prizes and raffles to be held at the Manning Memorial Bowls Club. Members of the RSLWA Bowls Section who are selected to play in this event will represent Western Australia.
New memberships are $20, with an annual renewal of $10 per year. Family members (affiliates) are $10.
