Club Grants program announced
Bowls WA through the Club Development Committee is pleased to announce a new funding program for affiliated bowling clubs called Club Grants.
The Bowls WA Club Grants Program exemplifies Bowls WA’s commitment to the development of sustainable clubs across the State of Western Australia.
The purpose of the program is to provide financial assistance to affiliated clubs to develop ideas and run programs that will assist in future proofing the sport in WA.
The program aims to maintain or increase participation in bowls and/or help develop alternative revenue streams to ensure the financial viability of clubs. Through the Club Grants Program, Bowls WA will invest $40,000 in the 2022–2023 financial year towards the development and implementation of the club grants program. The maximum grant offered for applications is up to $5,000 however clubs can apply for grants of as low as $500.
