Vale: Michael Goble-Garratt
The Board and Staff are saddened to hear of the passing of previous Chairman of Umpires Michael Goble-Garratt.
Mike was an outstanding administrator and initiated a number of processes that boosted the number of accredited umpires at clubs, while also coordinating umpire appointments for Bowls WA events.
Well respected at a national level, Mike was awarded a rarely given Bowls WA Merit Badge at a volunteers function in 2021 noting the length of his service.
Mike was also a well respected member of the Willetton Bowling Club.
Bowls WA passes on its sympathies to family and friends.
