Finalist set for Masters Triples

by Aaron Delaporte on November 22, 2022

Three rounds of competition on Sunday November 20th have reduced the initial 30 teams to just 8 finalists in the $4,000 Bassendean Men’s Masters Triples.

Whilst several of the competitions more fancied teams made it through qualifying there was also a few upsets. None more so than the Swan team of Brian Davis, Rod Revell and Rocco Furci who took the no 1 qualifying spot after defeating teams skippered by Glenn Pauling, Eugene O’Sullivan and Dale Marsland. They will now face the Bassendean lineup of Matthew Whitely, Rauri Kenyon and Norm Kirkup in the Quarter finals. Highly credentialed teams skippered by Cody Packer and John Slavich will also do battle in a salivating match-up whilst the Tim Hyatt versus Shane Knott final looks to be another beauty. The other quarter final will see Shane Loftus’s composite team take on an Osborne Park side skippered by Todd Weir.

Play will begin from 9.30am with semi finals and the grand final to follow on Sunday November 27th. All spectators are welcome.
