North Beach Masters Pairs on this week
The prestigious Women’s Masters Pairs will be played this week at North Beach Bowling Club with 49 teams entered.
Played as a knockout event matches will begin on Friday 9th December where the field will reduce to just eight quarter finalists.
One match will be held early Saturday 10th December before finals are played on Sunday 11th December.
There are several past winners engaged including last years champions Helen Morss and Lisa Smith (pictured) who will begin there campaign against Vicky Ellis and Dot Glass. Against strong combo’s include Kristina Krstic and Helen Heal, Therese Hastings and Kaitlin Tyrrell, Lee Poletti and Kaye Blackwell and Chris Ace-Watson and the in form Irene Leahy. The opening round match of Laura Butler and Hailey Packer versus Lisa Featherby and Linda Warburton looks to be a real beauty with the winner likely to face Noelene Abe and Kerry Andersen in a tough part of the draw.
