Doubleview Masters Pairs begins this Sunday
The time honoured Doubleview Men’s Masters Pairs will see it 56th staging with $7,000 up for grabs courtesy of the continued sponsorship provided by Hart & Co.
The field is divided into two halves with the first 32 teams taking to the greens this Sunday in 8 sections of 4 teams. The draw for this half having been announced today with a live Facebook draw which is now available on Bowls Link.
Doubleview Men’s Masters Pairs Draw and Results
Some terrific teams are engaged including the defending champions Cody Packer and Tom Mitchell in a solid opening section of the event. They take on Chris Lander and Paul Knight in a first up match.
Other strong pairs include Shane Loftus & Daniel Trewhella, Glenn Pauling & Scott Walker and Brad White & Gavin Faulkner is a strong section 2. Blake Butler & Miles Kemp look tough to beat in section 5 whilst Ryan Moyle and Corey Bessant will be tough to beat in section 6. Former team mates and Bowls WA Hall of Famers Lindsay Thorn and Robbie Ball will be looking to turn back the clock in section 7 and regardless of the result I’m sure they will swapping some good stories off the green.
