Dream Team Competition Winners
Bowls WA received a great response for the Dream Team Competitions, with a strong number of entries.
Entries received 1 point for every correct player selected and an extra point if you put them in the correct position as selected by our official selection panels. Competition entries could also receive 5 bonus points if you got a whole rink correct and although nobody selected a correct rink, a number of entries were close with 3 players correctly positioned in the same rink.
Men’s Metropolitan Dream Team – Using all his experience, Gary Caffell selected 16 out of the 20 players correctly, as did a number of other people but Gary got a few more in the correct position to get over the line.
Women’s Metropolitan Dream Team – Greg Reagan was near the top in all four competitions and came out on top in this one with 16 out of twenty selections and eight players in the correct position
Women’s Country Dream Team – Country girl Debra Whitely showed she knows a bit about the country ladies by selecting 16 out of the 20 players correctly.
Men’s Country Dream Team – Steve Kelly proved to be the master of all by selecting an amazing 19 out of the 20 players correctly to take home the prize.
